Mr. Burge has over 20 years of experience in Hawaii's criminal justice system. He worked for nearly 10 years at the Honolulu Police Department, primarily as a patrol officer. He has been a criminal defense attorney in Hawaii for over 10 years. He is licensed to practice law in all courts and most other forums within the State of Hawaii. He is also licensed to practice in the Federal Courts of the District of Hawaii, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Besides filing numerous appeals in both the Hawaii appellate courts and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, Mr. Burge has also specially appeared to represent clients in California. Mr. Burge has represented people throughout Hawaii on cases ranging from Traffic Offenses to Murder.
